The journey has been a long and turbulent one filled with great achievements and disappointments. My career goals have changed throughout my fifteen years of employment. However, the strongest felt career goal has not been tackled until only a few years ago.

My journey began fresh out of high school. While working a full-time office job, I decided a community college business course would be my next step. Completing my first year was no more exhilarating than watching a turtle travel toward his next destination. Following this attempt, my next step was a job at a local bank. A short-term goal I thought would only be a stepping stone turned out to be home for the next ten years.
